  • To go to a word that you want to see, simply click on the letter of the alphabet in the sidebar to the left, and then click on the right word.
  • Mulivo entries are displayed in the following format:

  • Sometimes at the top of the page you will find the word along with English synonyms and possibly a short definition.
  • This is followed by translations of the word in the 47 standard languages of Mulivo listed in a table.
    • The names of the languages are in the left column. (We were using three-letter language codes initially, and they can be still found on some pages.)
    • The middle column shows the word in the original script. If you can't see it correctly, it's probably because you don't have the proper font.
    • The phonetic transcription to IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet) is in the right column. The transcriptions are not entirely accurate: for example stress, tone and dialect variations are omitted. The best reference to correct pronunciation is the original script of the language.
    • The languages are set in order according to genetic, cultural and geographical relations. The basic order is: East Asian languages, Western languages, Turkic, Afro-Asian and Iranian languages, Indian, Indo-Chinese and Malayo-Polynesian languages, African languages and other languages.
  • Sometimes there is a link to additional translations in other languages. The additional languages are ordered alphabetically according to the language names.
